Description: Set in Shanghai in the 1920s, the drama revolves around two architects Shen Qinan and Fu Hanjun as they atempt to build homes for build affordable homes for the people. Shen Qi Nan’s childhood was difficult: his father died when he was engaged in the delivery of contraband goods, his mother died during her escape, and his siblings were forced to seperate. Years later, he works hard, hoping to build affordable housing with better living conditions in areas destroyed after the war. He meets Fu Hanjun, a telented architect who tries to combine the features of Chinese architecture and the needs of people in her work.
